Invite: Stok-en-Hoed Overnight hikes 2020

The new year is well and truly upon us and with some rain over parts of Namibia during the course of the last few weeks we have every reason looking forward to the start of a new hiking season.

Please find more info below with regard to Stok-en-Hoed’s overnight hikes for 2020 to which we heartily invite! Many a wanderer have returned from such a venture with cherished memories, fresh insights to life and more than a tale or two to tell..

Khomas Hochland 17-20 March

This will be our first attempt at this trail opened during 2015. We sent out an invite toward the end of last year to which there was already some response, currently we have 4 more places available. More info here

Fish River Canyon 3-8 May (5-day hike over 6 calendar days)

No doubt many a Canyon lover would rush to fill the 3 spots we still have available. We start this hike really early in the season (trail open 1 May) and are already excited to put some fresh tracks in the sand down south..
Fish for more on how we normally go about doing this.

Naukluft 16-23 June

Rated by some as the toughest overnight trail in Southern-Africa, if not on the continent.
Unfortunately we are fully booked for this year’s hike but are already thinking of at least the 4-day option for somewhere during 2021. Appetizer

Fish River Canyon 14-17 July (4-day hike)

7 places up for grabs with a few local hikers already having confirmed their interest.
