The Khomas Hochland Hiking Trail, a private initiative by farm owners between Windhoek and Okahandja, opened during 2015.
Trails are open to the public from April to September each year and are conducted over 55 and 95 kilometres over the course of 4 and 6 days respectively. Hikers have the option to choose between traditional backpacking (full pack from the start) or slackpacking (day pack only with overnight fill-ups).
At Stok-en-Hoed we are keen to support local initiatives as we look forward to our first visit to this trail during 2019.
